On Saturday October 25 we are going to El Lagar de Isilla and to live and understand what the work that is being done on the winery is to get a specific wine from a concrete type of grape.

This is actually what they are telling us every time we visit a winery. But what we are going to do on this occasion is an unforgettable experience. This time they are going to tell us how it works.We are going to live it firsthand.

Whether it´s your first vist to a winery , if the tenth or hundredth. I am sure you will love the experience.  First we will taste different types of grapes, musts and wines at various stages of the elaboration process, in the containers, and from barrels. Then we will taste the final products, to end with a pairing of fruit, chocolate and wine.

In many wineries they offer you specific experiences on harvest. But in very few, the experience is so spectacular, didactic and amusing as this one.

Do not miss it.

After visiting the winery we will go to Aranda de Duero to have tapas and wines in a place as good as the best one in Madrid.

In the afternoon we will make a guided tour to Aranda de Duero and its caves of XVth and XVI th century. There we will learn how was the process of making wine on the Middle Age and how Aranda inhabitants digged on the underground of Aranda for keeping the wines for the whole year. The result: The underground of Aranda de Duero is like a Gruyere cheese.

You might have liked what you have seen in the morning in El lagar de isilla. But I am sure that the afternoon experience is going to please you too.
