How important is architecture in making a brand of winery strong?
Architecture as part of Marketing of Wine

How important is architecture in making a brand of winery strong? They used to say that an image was worth more than a thousand words. Now with Internet, social media and wine tourism I would say that an image is woth more than a million words. The design of this winery (Bodegas Protos in Ribera del Duero) was made by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners y Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados

This is what they say in their own website.

The roof as an expressive feature

The roof is the most noteworthy visual feature of the outside of the winery. This is the result of the exceptional location of the winery at the foot of the Peñafiel Castle. In the project concept, the roof was considered as yet another façade, to be viewed from the privileged position afforded by the Castle.
