I invite to read this sentence:
“At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did. They will remember how you made them feel.”
I have found recently this nice sentence. It sumarizes in very few words what is our goal in every tour we organize.
It is funny. We have been doing this activity since 2012 and we never stopped learning how to improve our experiences.
In any tour there are little details that make you react to make your visitors to have an unforgettable day. But it is not easy. I would say it is rather difficult. Our clients are very, very nice people who are since the first second trying to help you to make them have an unforgettable day. But at the same time they have high expectatives. I would say that they do not care about the place we are going to many times. What they want is to have as a Good experience as other clients have written it was.
And there we are. Thinking on many little details to improve the experience.
Sometimes not everything was perfect. I remember in the begining of our business in 2012 we stopped to have a last drink before getting in Madrid after a long day visiting a couple of wineries. We were in a prairie. And we were smelling our wines we felt that the most intense flavour was the shit of the cows not too far from us. The view was nice but the smell was not the apropiate. Saying in few words we failed that time. But we said. “So sorry for that. Sometimes we do not succeed but what we do is putting all our heart in what we do.” A couple of days later I could see a review of one of this group who said he really enjoyed the tour because he saw we were putting all our heart. These kind of mistakes we do not make it any more. We make different mistakes. We are not perfect but we try to learn from our mistakes. But we try to have in our mind…
